Optimello films and uploads the videos shown on ElternArchiv on behalf of the respective event organiser (e.g. a karate school, a school, a wedding couple). Optimello is not itself the organiser of the events shown. ElternArchiv is a private, password-protected offering for invited families of individual events. Responsibility for the lawfulness of publishing the videos — in particular the consent of the people filmed or their legal guardians — remains with the commissioning organiser, as they decide on how the event is run and organised.
As a service provider, we are responsible for our own content on these pages under general law in accordance with § 7 (1) TMG. Under §§ 8 to 10 TMG, however, we are not obliged as a service provider to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information or to investigate circumstances that indicate unlawful activity.
